This exceptional hybrid is the result of crossing Rlc. Rebeca with C. Helen Veliz, combining vibrant coloration with fragrant blooms. Prized by collectors for its stunning flowers with rich purple-magenta tones and excellent substance.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light. Place near an east or west-facing window with filtered sunlight, or provide 50-70% shade in greenhouse conditions.
  • Temperature: Intermediate to warm conditions, 15-29°C (60-85°F) during the day, with a 5-8°C (10-15°F) drop at night to encourage blooming.
  • Humidity: 50-70% relative humidity with good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly when the potting medium approaches dryness. Allow slight drying between waterings, reducing frequency during winter rest period.

Additional Notes:

Produces large, fragrant flowers in rich purple-magenta tones with a darker lip and yellow throat markings. Mature plants develop strong pseudobulbs and can produce multiple blooms per spike.
