Pabstiella tripterantha

A graceful miniature epiphyte from the Atlantic Forest and Andean foothills, producing long, pendulous racemes densely packed with small flowers. Each bloom features a distinctive hooked synsepalum — the fused lateral sepals curve outward at the tip — giving the cascading inflorescence a uniquely ornamental, chain-like appearance.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can stress the thin, pendant leaves.
• Temperature: 54–72°F (12–22°C); an Intermediate to Cool grower that appreciates good air movement and moderate temperature drops at night. Minimum 48°F (9°C).
• Humidity: 70–90%; mount or grow in a hanging basket to allow the pendulous inflorescences to cascade freely while maintaining high ambient moisture.
• Watering: Water frequently to keep roots evenly moist; the fine root system dislikes prolonged dryness.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork bark or in a small hanging basket with a fine, open mix. The pendulous growth habit makes mounting the ideal display method. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
