One of the Paphiopedilum hybrids we produce at Ecuagenera, Paphiopedilum Cocoa Winsholt x Paph. Cocoa Tree does best under warm-growing conditions.

  • Light: Low to moderate diffused light, never direct sun. Leaves should stay a healthy medium green; very dark leaves suggest too little light.
  • Temperature: It prefers days of 25-32 °C (77-90 °F) and cooler nights around 20-24 °C (68-75 °F).
  • Humidity: Aim for 60-80% humidity year-round, always paired with good air circulation.
  • Watering: Keep the substrate evenly moist but never soggy; do not let it dry out completely, and avoid water sitting in the crown.
