Masdevallia repanda Culture

Masdevallia repanda is an orchid species of the genus Masdevallia, grown at our nurseries in Ecuador. It grows best in intermediate-cool conditions.

  • Light: Low to moderate diffused light with good air movement.
  • Temperature: Day temperatures of 18-26 °C (64-79 °F) with cooler nights of 12-18 °C (54-64 °F) suit it best.
  • Humidity: Moderate to high humidity (50-70%) with good air circulation helps keep the foliage healthy and prevents fungal problems.
  • Watering: Keep evenly moist at all times; these plants have no pseudobulbs and resent drying out.

Additional notes: Grown from our own stock at Ecuagenera. Plants are shipped bare-root with a phytosanitary certificate.
