Masdevallia notosibirica

A robust and exceptionally free-flowering species from the Andean cloud forests, producing multiple tubular, bell-shaped blooms simultaneously on arching stems. The elongated, curved floral tubes open into a flared mouth with delicate short caudas, held gracefully at various angles above broad, glossy foliage — a spectacular display for a Masdevallia.

• Light: 50–70% shade cloth; bright, diffused light. Avoid any direct sun exposure.
• Temperature: 45–68°F (7–20°C); Cool to Intermediate grower. Consistent cool nights are essential for healthy growth and blooming.
• Humidity: 70–90%. Requires high humidity at all times; excellent air movement is critical to prevent fungal issues.
• Watering: Keep evenly moist; never allow the roots to dry out completely. Water frequently with good drainage to avoid stagnation.

Grown by Ecuagenera in the highlands of Ecuador. Best grown in small to medium pots with a fine, well-draining mix. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
