A striking hybrid of Lths. medusa × Lths. calodictyon. It inherits the bold reticulated leaf pattern of Lths. calodictyon — a large elliptic leaf with a dense dark grid over a green background and a finely pubescent surface — while producing successive flowers on long peduncles with spreading triangular sepals and contrasting bilobed petals at the center.
-
Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can damage the ornamental foliage.
-
Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C); an Intermediate grower that benefits from good air circulation and stable temperatures.
-
Humidity: 75–90%; maintain consistently high humidity — ideal for terrariums or humid intermediate setups.
-
Watering: Water frequently to keep the medium evenly moist; avoid prolonged dryness, as Lepanthes roots are sensitive to dehydration.
Additional Notes
Best grown mounted on cork or in a small net pot with fine sphagnum moss. Its exceptionally ornamental reticulated foliage makes it as prized for its leaf as for its flowers. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
