The plant arrived meticulously packed in its own humidity chamber, and yet the leaves were dessicated to the extent that their veination was prominently elevated and the sphagnum was brittlely dry. I immediately soaked it, plucked the spahgnum away, and saw the roots were healthy (attractive reddish!). I remounted the plant with fresh moss and it has recovered with root growth and a fully developed new leaf. I think the plants the arrival condition was pretty good considering that Lepanthes are small-sized and lack of water storage structures.
