Hoya carnosa 'krimson princess'

A variegated cultivar of Hoya carnosa from East and Southeast Asia with thick, oval, semi-succulent leaves displaying a creamy-white central variegation edged in deep green. It produces a vining, trailing habit with slender reddish stems that readily climb or cascade.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; good light intensity enhances variegation contrast without scorching the fleshy leaves.
• Temperature: 60–82°F (16–28°C); thrives as a warm to intermediate grower with stable, frost-free conditions.
• Humidity: 50–70%; moderate to high humidity supports vigorous vining growth and promotes flowering on mature stems.
• Watering: Water thoroughly, then allow the substrate to dry out significantly between waterings; avoid waterlogging, which causes root rot.
• Growth Habit: Twining epiphytic vine with semi-succulent, variegated oval leaves on reddish stems. Produces clusters of star-shaped, waxy flowers on mature peduncles that should never be removed between bloom cycles.
