Information

Dendrobium nobile f. alba

Dendrobium nobile f. alba Culture

Dendrobium nobile f. alba is a warm-growing orchid species of the genus Dendrobium, grown and propagated at our nurseries in Ecuador.

  • Light: Bright light; a few hours of gentle sun help flowering.
  • Temperature: Day temperatures of 25-32 °C (77-90 °F) with a gentle drop at night to 20-24 °C (68-75 °F) suit it best.
  • Humidity: Aim for 60-80% humidity year-round, always paired with good air circulation.
  • Watering: Water regularly during active growth, allowing the medium to begin drying between waterings. Reduce slightly during the cooler months.

Additional notes: 'alba' in the name denotes its white color form, a departure from the usual coloring of the species that collectors especially look for.
