This distinctive species features elongated, lanceolate leaves with a remarkably thin, membranous texture.

  • Light: Prefers low to medium indirect light, mimicking its natural understory habitat. Avoid bright, direct sunlight which can easily scorch its delicate leaves.
  • Temperature: Thrives in warm and consistent temperatures between 18-25°C (64-77°F). Protect from cold drafts.
  • Humidity: Requires high humidity levels, ideally 70% or higher, to prevent the thin leaves from drying out and becoming crispy.
  • Watering: Keep the potting mix consistently moist but well-draining. Due to the delicate nature of the leaves, avoid letting the substrate completely dry out.

Foliage Characteristics: The leaves are elongated and lance-shaped, with a notably thin, membranous texture that can appear almost translucent. Prominent parallel veins run the length of the leaf, creating a subtle ribbed effect. The leaves typically arch or droop.
