Anthurium carlablackiae x Anthurium besseae aff (seedling) Culture
Anthurium carlablackiae x Anthurium besseae aff (seedling) is an Anthurium aroid hybrid grown at our nurseries in Ecuador. Like most of its genus it appreciates warm-growing conditions and steady, attentive care.
-
Light: Bright, indirect light. Direct sun can scorch the velvety foliage.
-
Temperature: Day temperatures of 25-32 °C (77-90 °F) with a gentle drop at night to 20-24 °C (68-75 °F) suit it best.
-
Humidity: High, stable humidity (70-85%) keeps the foliage in top condition; a humidifier or grouping plants together helps in dry rooms.
-
Watering: Water when the top of the substrate starts to dry; the mix should stay lightly moist, never waterlogged.
Additional notes: Both parents are also available in our shop: Anthurium carlablackiae and Anthurium besseae aff (seedling). Like all aroids, it is considered toxic if ingested, so keep it out of reach of pets and children.
