Zootrophion niveum Culture

Zootrophion niveum is an intermediate orchid species of the genus Zootrophion, grown and propagated at our nurseries in Ecuador.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light, out of direct midday sun.
  • Temperature: Day temperatures of 20-28 °C (68-82 °F) with a gentle drop at night to 15-20 °C (59-68 °F) suit it best.
  • Humidity: Aim for 60-80% humidity year-round, always paired with good air circulation.
  • Watering: Water regularly during active growth, allowing the medium to begin drying between waterings. Reduce slightly during the cooler months.
