Information

Philodendron plowmanii var citrus (medium)

Philodendron plowmanii var citrus (medium) Culture

Philodendron plowmanii var citrus (medium) belongs to the genus Philodendron and comes from our own propagation in Ecuador. It is a warm-growing aroid.

  • Light: Bright to moderate indirect light.
  • Temperature: It prefers days of 25-32 °C (77-90 °F) and cooler nights around 20-24 °C (68-75 °F).
  • Humidity: High, stable humidity (70-85%) keeps the foliage in top condition; a humidifier or grouping plants together helps in dry rooms.
  • Watering: Water when the top of the substrate starts to dry; avoid waterlogging.

Additional notes: Like all aroids, it is considered toxic if ingested, so keep it out of reach of pets and children.
