Information

Philodendron heleniae subsp. amazonense

Philodendron heleniae subsp. amazonense Culture

Philodendron heleniae subsp. amazonense is an intermediate aroid species of the genus Philodendron, grown and propagated at our nurseries in Ecuador.

  • Light: Bright to moderate indirect light.
  • Temperature: Day temperatures of 20-28 °C (68-82 °F) with a gentle drop at night to 15-20 °C (59-68 °F) suit it best.
  • Humidity: High, stable humidity (70-85%) keeps the foliage in top condition; a humidifier or grouping plants together helps in dry rooms.
  • Watering: Water when the top of the substrate starts to dry; avoid waterlogging.

Additional notes: Like all aroids, it is considered toxic if ingested, so keep it out of reach of pets and children.
