Zygolum Louisendorf grex

A floriferous hybrid of Zglm. labiosum × Z. Artur Elle, producing upright to arching inflorescences with multiple large, well-spaced flowers. The sepals and petals are broad and spreading with a firm, waxy texture, and the prominent lip is boldly veined and flared at the margins.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid direct midday sun, which can cause leaf burn.
• Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C); an intermediate grower that benefits from a slight temperature drop at night to initiate flowering.
• Humidity: 60–80%; moderate to high humidity promotes strong pseudobulb development and consistent blooming.
• Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to approach dryness between waterings; never allow the roots to sit in standing water.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a coarse bark-based mix with good drainage, in a pot sized to the root system. Shipped bare root and well established.
