A charming primary hybrid between Masd. rex and Masd. glandulosa, it combines the bold, waxy texture of its parents with a compact, free-flowering habit that makes it a rewarding choice for intermediate to cool growers.

  • Light: Low to moderate indirect light; 70–80% shade cloth recommended. Avoid direct sun exposure.
  • Temperature: 50–68°F (10–20°C). Intermediate to cool grower; avoid prolonged heat above 75°F (24°C).
  • Humidity: 75–90%. Maintain consistent humidity with good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
  • Watering: Keep evenly moist at all times — this genus lacks pseudobulbs and cannot tolerate drying out. Use soft, low-mineral water when possible.

Grown at Ecuagenera's facilities in Ecuador under controlled conditions ideal for Masdevallia culture. Shipped bare root, well-established.
