A charming miniature species native to the cloud forests of Ecuador, it produces small but intricate flowers with the delicate, jewel-like quality typical of the genus. Its compact, tufted habit and ease of culture make it an excellent choice for cool-growing enthusiasts.

  • Light: Low to moderate indirect light; 70–80% shade cloth recommended. Avoid direct sun exposure.
  • Temperature: 45–65°F (7–18°C). Cool grower; avoid temperatures above 75°F (24°C). Night drops encourage blooming.
  • Humidity: 80–90%. Consistent humidity is essential; ensure good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
  • Watering: Keep evenly moist at all times — this genus lacks pseudobulbs and cannot tolerate drying out. Use soft, low-mineral water when possible.

Additional Notes

Grown at Ecuagenera's facilities in Ecuador under high-altitude conditions that closely replicate this species' native cloud forest environment. Shipped bare root, well-established.
