Masdevallia priscillana

A charming and prolific miniature orchid from Andean cloud forests, valued for its freely produced blooms on slender, upright stems. The flowers feature tightly fused sepals forming a compact, hooded structure that curves forward, with bright golden tails that curl outward — a striking contrast against the dark, richly toned body.

• Light: Low to moderate light; 70–80% shade cloth. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the foliage.
• Temperature: 57–72°F (14–22°C); intermediate grower. Benefits from moderate temperature fluctuation between day and night.
• Humidity: 70–90%. High humidity is key; always pair with good air movement to prevent fungal rot.
• Watering: Keep roots evenly moist at all times. Water more frequently in warm months, slightly less in winter. Never allow to dry out completely.
