Beschreibung

Beschreibung

A charming miniature species from the cloud forests of the Caribbean, producing flowers on short axillary inflorescences from its compact, small-leaved habit. The blooms feature three sharply acuminate, densely ciliate sepals — an erect dorsal and two diverging laterals forming an open arrow-like structure — with a bold contrasting labellum and curved petals at the center.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun to protect the delicate foliage.
  • Temperature: 54–72°F (12–22°C); an intermediate grower with good adaptability to mild temperature fluctuations.
  • Humidity: 78–90%; maintain consistently high humidity with good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
  • Watering: Keep roots evenly moist at all times; water regularly and avoid prolonged dry periods.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork bark or in a small pot with fine sphagnum moss. Its compact size and ciliate blooms make it an excellent choice for a well-ventilated terrarium. Ships bare root, well-established.
