Lepanthes elegantula x Lths. ionoptera

A floriferous primary hybrid of Lths. elegantula × Lths. ionoptera. It forms a vigorous clump of smooth, glossy lanceolate-elliptic leaves and produces multiple simultaneous flowers on long slender peduncles, each with a markedly elongated acuminate dorsal sepal pointing upward and an equally elongated synsepal below, forming a dramatic rhomboid outline, with bilobed petals and a small labellum at the center.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 60–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can damage the glossy foliage.
• Temperature: 50–65°F (10–18°C); a Cool grower that thrives in stable, cool conditions with consistent air movement.
• Humidity: 80–95%; maintain high humidity at all times — ideal for cool terrarium setups.
• Watering: Water frequently to keep the medium evenly moist; never allow the fine roots to dry out completely between waterings.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or in a small net pot with fine sphagnum moss. Its prolific simultaneous blooming and elegant rhomboid flowers make it a standout in any cool-growing terrarium collection. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
