Cattleya Village Chief Augment

This is a complex hybrid orchid between Cattleya Taida Swan × Cattleya Chyong Guu Swan. It is part of the large-flowered Cattleya alliance, known for its robust growth and exceptionally showy, large blooms.

• Light: Bright, indirect light is required for successful flowering. Provide consistent morning sun or strong filtered light throughout the day.
• Temperature: Intermediate to warm conditions. Maintain temperatures between 68-86°F (20-30°C). Protect from extreme heat and temperatures below 55°F (13°C).
• Humidity: Moderate to high. Aim for 50-70% relative humidity. Ensure good air movement, especially in humid conditions, to prevent fungal issues.
• Watering: Water thoroughly when the potting medium is nearly dry. As with most standard Cattleya orchids, allow the roots to dry out between waterings, especially during cooler or less active periods.

Additional Notes

This hybrid, typically produces large, full, well-formed flowers often in pure white or creamy white with a striking, brightly colored labellum (lip), such as magenta or yellow.
