Cattleya Percimax Culture

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Provide good air circulation to prevent leaf burn.
  • Temperature: Thrives in intermediate temperature. Ideal daytime temperatures range between 20-27°C (68-80°F), with cooler nighttime temperatures around 12-18°C (54-64°F) to encourage blooming.
  • Humidity: Requires moderate to high humidity, ideally between 50-70%. 
  • Watering: Allow the substrate to dry out almost completely between waterings, then water thoroughly. Ensure good drainage, as these orchids dislike soggy roots. 

Additional Notes

  • This Cattleya Percimax hybrid will likely inherit the showy flowers of maxima and the intense fragrance of percivaliana. Expect blooms with beautiful purple or rose tones, potentially with ruffled edges and a contrasting lip, showcasing the best of both parents.
