Information

Masdevallia schroederiana

Masdevallia schroederiana Culture

One of the Masdevallia species we grow at Ecuagenera, Masdevallia schroederiana does best under cool-to-intermediate conditions.

  • Light: Low to moderate diffused light with good air movement.
  • Temperature: Day temperatures of 18-26 °C (64-79 °F) with a gentle drop at night to 12-18 °C (54-64 °F) suit it best.
  • Humidity: High humidity (70-85%) with constant gentle air movement, much like its cloud-forest conditions, keeps the plant healthy and prevents fungal spots.
  • Watering: Keep evenly moist at all times; these plants have no pseudobulbs and resent drying out.
