Beschreibung

A select breeding of Cattleya intermedia combining the pure white form (f. alba) with the awarded 'Aquimii' cultivar. This Brazilian species is renowned for its fragrant, long-lasting flowers and vigorous growth. 'Sol Radiante' produces elegant blooms with excellent form, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced growers.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 50-70% shade. Can tolerate some direct morning or late afternoon sun.
  • Temperature: Warm conditions. Daytime 70-85°F (21-29°C), nighttime 59-68°F (15-20°C). Tolerates a wide temperature range.
  • Humidity: 50-70% with good air circulation.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly when medium approaches dryness, typically every 5-7 days. Reduce slightly after flowering during rest period.

Additional Notes:

The alba form contributes clean genetics for white or pastel offspring, while 'Aquimii' adds vigor and superior flower quality. Grows well in pots with bark-based medium or mounted. One of the easiest Cattleya species to cultivate and bloom reliably.
