Anth. Velvet Eclipse is an exceptional hybrid seedling resulting from the cross of Anth. luxurians and Anth. nigrolaminum Ecuagenera. This young plant will develop the stunning characteristics of both parent species, featuring velvety dark foliage with distinctive venation patterns as it matures.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch the delicate young foliage. East or north-facing windows work well.
  • Temperature: Warm temperatures between 18-26°C (65-79°F). Protect from cold drafts and temperature fluctuations.
  • Humidity: High humidity levels of 60-80%. Use a humidifier, pebble tray, or group with other plants.
  • Watering: Water when top inch of soil feels dry. Maintain consistent moisture without waterlogging.
  • Maintenance: As a baby plant, repot according to growth until it reaches medium size. Provide adequate water, light, and fertilizer, but use less than for adult plants to avoid damaging development.
