Anthurium Century Queen Culture:

Successful cultivation of this Anthurium hybrid requires attention to the following aspects, based on the needs of its parent plants:

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch its velvety leaves.
  • Temperature: Thrives in warm, humid temperatures typical of tropical climates. Ideal temperatures range between 22°C and 28°C (72°F and 82°F).
  • Humidity: Requires very high ambient humidity (75-85%). The use of humidifiers or cultivation in terrariums is strongly recommended.
  • Watering: Keep the substrate consistently moist, but not waterlogged. Ensure excellent drainage to prevent root rot.
  • Substrate: Use a very well-draining, airy substrate rich in organic material, such as a mix of sphagnum moss, perlite, and orchid bark.
