Paphiopedilum Cocoa Kitty Tree

Paphiopedilum Cocoa Kitty Tree Culture

One of the Paphiopedilum hybrids we produce at Ecuagenera, Paphiopedilum Cocoa Kitty Tree does best under cool-to-intermediate conditions.

  • Light: Low to moderate diffused light, never direct sun. Leaves should stay a healthy medium green; very dark leaves suggest too little light.
  • Temperature: Day temperatures of 18-26 °C (64-79 °F) with a gentle drop at night to 12-18 °C (54-64 °F) suit it best.
  • Humidity: High humidity (70-85%) with constant gentle air movement, much like its cloud-forest conditions, keeps the plant healthy and prevents fungal spots.
  • Watering: Keep the substrate evenly moist but never soggy; do not let it dry out completely, and avoid water sitting in the crown.
