Oncidium
文心蘭常被稱為「跳舞蘭」,是一個充滿活力且繁茂的屬。它以大量簇擁、精緻的小花著稱,花朵形狀宛如穿著寬大飄逸舞裙的舞者。文心蘭原產於拉丁美洲,分布廣泛,從熱帶雨林到高海拔的雲霧林都能見到其蹤跡。這些蘭花通常會生長出高大且具分枝的花序,上面密集地綴滿了金黃、古銅、紅、粉和白等耀眼色澤的花朵,並常帶有對比鮮明的斑點或花紋。其獨特的唇瓣(labellum)通常大而呈波浪狀,增添了生動且富有律動感的外觀。許多物種與雜交品種還帶有令人愉悅的芳香,讓空氣中瀰漫著甜美、有時帶著辛香的迷人氣息。
