This robust rupicolous epiphyte develops tightly clustered, nearly spherical pseudobulbs that produce short inflorescences carrying remarkably large, long-lasting, and heavily textured flowers that completely dwarf the foliage.

• Temperature: 59–86°F (15–30°C); an adaptable intermediate grower that benefits from warm days and a distinct temperature drop at night.
• Humidity: 60–80%; consistent atmospheric moisture promotes active root development and keeps the compact pseudobulbs plump.
• Watering: Water thoroughly during active growth but allow the medium to dry completely between applications; ensure excellent drainage to mimic its native habitat.
