Mahina Yahiro × C. warscewiczii, this warm-growing Cattleya alliance orchid produces large, full-formed flowers with exceptionally broad, flat petals and a wide, ruffled lip with a bright yellow throat. The blooms inherit the impressive size and substance characteristic of its C. warscewiczii parentage.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–50% shade cloth; avoid harsh midday sun to protect the broad, flat petals.
• Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C); a warm grower that benefits from a 10°F (5°C) night drop to encourage blooming.
• Humidity: 60–80%; maintain consistent humidity with a tray or misting, especially during dry seasons.
• Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to approach dryness between waterings; good air circulation around the roots is essential.
