Lepanthes fimbriata

A highly floriferous miniature species from the cloud forests of Central America. It produces dense, pectinate racemes of small flowers with spreading lateral sepals, distinctly fringed (fimbriate) petals, and a prominent bilobed labellum, all borne along the leaf margin.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the thin, glossy leaves.
• Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C); an Intermediate grower that appreciates good air circulation and stable temperatures.
• Humidity: 75–90%; keep humidity consistently high — well suited for terrariums or humid intermediate setups.
• Watering: Water frequently to maintain an evenly moist medium; avoid letting the roots dry out completely between waterings.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or in a small net pot with fine sphagnum moss or bark mix. Its compact habit and prolific blooming make it an excellent terrarium subject. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
