This is a remarkable member of the Ericaceae family native to the cloud forests of Ecuador. This species features distinctive tubular flowers with waxy texture and vibrant coloration. Its compact growth habit and ornamental appeal make it an excellent choice for intermediate growing conditions.
Additional Notes
An epiphytic shrub from Andean cloud forests. The species name "glans" refers to its acorn-like flower buds. Best grown in well-draining acidic substrate rich in organic matter. Excellent for hanging baskets or mounted displays to showcase its natural cascading growth.
I received a big full plant, much larger than i anticipated. Very few signs of shipping stress. The roots appear healthy I trimmed Any broken branches and poked them back in the mix after potting. I am keeping in high humidity though it could probably be a bit lower. It has dropped some leaves over the last few weeks from my handling but there is new growth everywhere. Looking forward to seeing how this matures.

Traveled extremely well and not showing any sign of long travel. A beauty!
