Amesiella minor is a charming and rare miniature epiphytic orchid endemic to the Philippines, first described by Senghas and published in J. Orchideenfr. 6: 121 (1999). A warm-growing member of the Orchidaceae family, it is one of the smallest species in the Amesiella genus — prized for its pristine white, crystalline flowers with a delicate, sweet fragrance that belie its tiny stature. Its compact, fan-like growth habit and exquisite blooms make it a jewel of the miniature orchid world and a highly sought-after species for terrarium and vivarium cultivation.
