A small epiphyte endemic to the cloud forests of Ecuador, producing pendant flowers of a wholly unique architecture. Two globose structures in vivid rose-magenta — densely papillose throughout, giving the entire bloom a rich, velvety texture — are joined at the center by small spreading petals, creating a striking hourglass silhouette unlike anything else in the genus.
Additional Notes
Best grown mounted on cork or tree fern; excellent air circulation is essential. A slight nighttime temperature drop encourages blooming. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
Unfortunately the plant come dead.
