Lepanthopsis astrophora x Lepanthes biloba

A miniature intergeneric hybrid of Lpths. astrophora × Lths. biloba, combining the star-shaped floral arrangement of the former with the distinctly bilobed lip of the latter. Both parents hail from the cloud forests of South America, producing a compact, floriferous plant well suited to terrarium and vivarium culture.

• Light: Low to bright indirect light with 60–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the delicate foliage.
• Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C); an intermediate grower with a preference for cool nights. Minimum tolerance around 50°F (10°C).
• Humidity: 70–90%; high humidity is essential — a terrarium or enclosed growing environment is ideal.
• Watering: Keep the roots consistently moist but never waterlogged; water frequently with excellent drainage and airflow to prevent rot.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or tree fern, or in a small net pot with fine sphagnum moss. Ships bare root, well established. A rewarding miniature for collectors seeking novelty intergeneric hybrids.
