Information

Description

Description

A showstopping miniature orchid from Andean cloud forests, prized for its unusually large and elegant blooms relative to its compact size. The flowers feature broad, elongated sepals that open widely in soft, pale lavender tones with warm accents at the base.

  • Light: Low to moderate light; 70–80% shade cloth. Avoid direct sun exposure.
  • Temperature: 50–65°F (10–18°C); cool grower. Cool nights are essential — avoid prolonged temperatures above 75°F (24°C).
  • Humidity: 70–90%. Maintain high humidity with good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
  • Watering: Keep roots evenly moist at all times. Water more frequently in warm months, slightly less in winter.

Additional Notes

Best grown in fine bark or sphagnum moss in small net or plastic pots. Ideal for cool-growing or climate-controlled setups. Offered by Ecuagenera, Ecuador, as a well-established bare-root plant.
