Pleurothallis cypripedioides

A pendant Andean epiphyte producing long, cascading racemes of dozens of tiny flowers that hang freely from the stem. Each bloom features a strikingly inflated globose synsepalum and dramatically elongated, feathery white fringed petals — best displayed mounted or in a hanging basket to showcase the full cascading effect.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can stress the foliage.
• Temperature: 50–68°F (10–20°C); a Cool grower that performs best with stable cool conditions and good air movement. Minimum 45°F (7°C).
• Humidity: 70–90%; the pendant habit makes mounting on cork or a hanging basket ideal to maintain airflow around the roots.
• Watering: Water regularly to keep roots evenly moist; avoid prolonged dryness between waterings.

Additional Notes

Must be grown mounted or in a hanging basket to allow the pendant racemes to cascade freely. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
