This is a small to medium-sized epiphytic, and sometimes lithophytic, orchid native to cloud forests at altitudes between 2000 and 3500 meters. It is characterized by its ovoid and rugose pseudobulbs.
The plant is attractive for its medium-sized flowers (2.5 to 4.5 cm) in vibrant shades, often red or orange.
It has been historically classified as Odontoglossum noezlianum or Cochlioda noezliana.
I bought the plant in Germany on the show at Currlins from Ecuag.: Even in spite of potting immediately it produced plenty of bloosoms over several weeks!
I basically received something that can be seen on the third picture. A healthy, deep dark 3-4 pseudobulbs plant. Satisfied with this purchase.

The shipment came quickly and the large clump of verdant leaves brought a smile to my face as soon as I opened the box. Upon carefully unwrapping the paper and removing the moss, I noted that the division was approximately 5 inches (13 cm) in diameter, with loads of plump pseudobulbs! It settled into its new home immediately! I would give it 10 stars!!!
