Neoregelia aculeatosepala

Neoregelia aculeatosepala is a tropical tank bromeliad with a sculptural rosette that brings strong form and botanical texture to a collection. Its compact, architectural habit works beautifully in bright indoor displays, humid greenhouses, and naturalistic tropical plantings.

Care Guide

• Light: Provide bright filtered light to support compact growth, while protecting the leaves from scorching midday sun.
• Water: Keep clean water in the central rosette and replace it regularly to prevent stagnation. Keep the root zone lightly moist but never waterlogged.
• Humidity: Maintain moderate to high humidity with steady airflow around the leaves.
• Temperature: Grow in warm conditions and protect from cold drafts and frost.
• Growing medium: Use a loose, airy bromeliad mix that drains quickly. A small pot, basket, or secure epiphytic-style mounting can suit its growth.

With bright filtered light, fresh water in its central cup, warmth, humidity, and excellent airflow, Neoregelia aculeatosepala can mature into a striking living rosette.
