Описание

Описание

An epiphytic species from the cloud forests of South America, immediately recognizable by its highly distinctive distichous fan of narrow, rigid, upright leaves arranged in a tight, symmetrical spread with no visible pseudobulbs. Its bold, architectural vegetative structure makes it a striking specimen even outside of bloom.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the rigid, narrow foliage.
  • Temperature: 58–78°F (14–26°C); thrives as an intermediate-warm grower with stable temperatures and a gentle nighttime drop.
  • Humidity: 65–80%; consistent humidity supports healthy root development and steady vegetative growth.
  • Watering: Keep the mount or mix evenly moist; avoid prolonged dryness, as the lack of pseudobulbs limits water storage capacity.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or tree fern to accommodate its upright, fan-shaped habit. Plants are shipped bare root, well established, and ready to adapt to your growing conditions.
