Описание

An epiphytic species from the Andean cloud forests of South America, producing multiple flowers simultaneously on short peduncles emerging from the base of compact, ovoid pseudobulbs, each with narrow, elongated sepals and petals held in an open, star-shaped arrangement. Its robust, floriferous habit and well-structured growth make it a rewarding species for intermediate-warm growers.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the broad, arching leaves.
  • Temperature: 58–78°F (14–26°C); thrives as an intermediate-warm grower with stable temperatures and a gentle nighttime drop.
  • Humidity: 60–80%; consistent humidity supports vigorous pseudobulb development and prolific blooming.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the mix to approach dryness between waterings; avoid prolonged saturation at the roots.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a well-draining bark-based mix in a pot or basket. Plants are shipped bare root, well established, and ready to adapt to your growing conditions.
