Описание

A charming miniature orchid species from Ecuador, prized for its delicate structure and intricate floral display. This diminutive epiphyte produces tiny flowers that showcase the remarkable diversity within the Pleurothallidinae subtribe, making it a fascinating addition for collectors of miniature orchids.

  • Light: Low to medium indirect light; avoid direct sunlight. Thrives under 50-70% shade cloth or in bright shade conditions similar to cloud forest understory.
  • Temperature: Cool to intermediate. Daytime 59-72°F (15-22°C), nighttime 50-59°F (10-15°C). Requires consistent cool temperatures with good day-night differential.
  • Humidity: 70-85% with excellent air circulation. High humidity is essential; consider growing in a terrarium or humidity chamber with constant gentle air movement.
  • Watering: Keep consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water daily or every other day with pure water (rainwater or RO water preferred). Never allow to dry out completely.

Additional Notes:

Native to Ecuador's cloud forests, this miniature epiphyte grows only a few centimeters tall and produces successive flowers from the leaf axils. Best grown mounted on cork or tree fern with live moss, or in very small pots with fine, moisture-retentive media.
