Information

Описание

Описание

A uniquely architectural miniature species native to Ecuador. It produces successive flowers with a markedly elongated conical acuminate dorsal sepal pointing upward, lateral sepals fully reduced to extremely fine, long capillary filaments extending horizontally like antennae, and small bilobed petals with a minute labellum at the center — creating a spider-like structure unlike any other Lepanthes.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can damage the delicate foliage.
  • Temperature: 60–78°F (16–26°C); an Intermediate-Warm grower that tolerates warmer conditions than most Lepanthes.
  • Humidity: 75–90%; maintain consistently high humidity — ideal for warm terrarium setups.
  • Watering: Water frequently to keep the medium evenly moist; avoid prolonged dryness, as Lepanthes roots are sensitive to dehydration.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or in a small net pot with fine sphagnum moss. Its extraordinary spider-like floral structure makes it one of the most architecturally distinctive Lepanthes in cultivation. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
