Information

Описание

Описание

A reed-stem epiphyte from the cloud forests of South America, producing few-flowered apical clusters of striking, entirely green, spider-shaped blooms. The flowers display extremely elongated, acuminate sepals and petals radiating outward, with a small, tubular lip bearing a pronounced chin at its base.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid direct midday sun to prevent stress on the foliage.
  • Temperature: 54–75°F (12–24°C); an intermediate grower that benefits from moderate temperature fluctuations between day and night.
  • Humidity: 70–85%; good air circulation around the roots and stems is essential to prevent fungal issues.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to approach dryness between waterings; avoid standing water at the roots.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a well-draining bark-based mix or mounted on cork. Plants are shipped bare root and well established, ready to adapt quickly to their new growing environment.
