Dendrobium Gowan's Tangello

A hybrid of Den. melinanthum × Den. mohlianum, two warm-growing species from the Pacific region known for their compact, clustered flower habit. The rounded, cup-shaped flowers are borne in tight clusters at the nodes of the canes, with broad, overlapping petals and a small, well-defined lip with a contrasting throat.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; tolerates higher light levels than many Dendrobium hybrids but avoid harsh direct sun.
• Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C); a warm grower that thrives in stable tropical conditions year-round.
• Humidity: 60–80%; moderate to high humidity supports healthy cane development and prolific node flowering.
• Watering: Water thoroughly during active growth; reduce slightly once canes are mature to encourage blooming at the nodes.

Additional Notes

Grow in a well-draining bark-based mix in a pot sized to the root system, and repot only when the medium begins to break down. Shipped bare root and well established.
