Cattleya Mainau-Zauber

A primary hybrid of C. lueddemanniana × C. violacea, combining the broad, rounded petals and full form of the former with the compact, well-structured flower shape of the latter. The lip is deeply cupped with a rich, ruffled margin and a vivid golden-orange throat.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–50% shade cloth; avoid harsh midday sun, which can stress the foliage.
• Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C) days, with nights around 60–65°F (15–18°C); a Warm to Intermediate grower with good tolerance for warm conditions.
• Humidity: 60–80%; use a humidity tray or misting in drier environments to maintain consistent moisture around the roots.
• Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to approach dryness before watering again; avoid prolonged saturation at the roots.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a coarse bark or chunky mix in a well-draining clay or plastic pot. Plants are shipped bare root, well-established, and ready to mount or repot upon arrival.
