Dendrobium Sabine Compactum

A Dendrobium hybrid producing clusters of long-lasting, rounded flowers along sturdy, upright canes. 

• Light: Bright indirect light with 30–50% shade cloth; strong light encourages robust cane development and prolific blooming.
• Temperature: 65–90°F (18–32°C). Warm grower; thrives in consistently warm conditions with a slight temperature drop at night during the dry season to initiate blooming.
• Humidity: 50–70%; good air movement is essential to prevent rot at the base of the canes.
• Watering: Water freely during active growth; reduce watering significantly in the dry/cool season to encourage blooming. Resume once new growth appears.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a well-draining bark mix or mounted. Plant size: 35–45cm. Ships bare root, well-established. Grown at Ecuagenera, Ecuador.
