Information

Описание

Описание

A striking species from the cloud forests of Ecuador, producing erect inflorescences with few but large, showy flowers. The narrow, star-like sepals and petals are well-spread, with a broad, bilobed, ruffled lip bearing a distinctive purple blotch at the base.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 50–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the foliage.
  • Temperature: 50–72°F (10–22°C); an intermediate to cool grower that benefits from distinct day-to-night temperature differentials.
  • Humidity: 65–80%; good air circulation is essential to keep the foliage healthy at cooler temperatures.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the mix to approach dryness between waterings; reduce frequency during cooler months.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a medium bark mix with excellent drainage. Ships bare root, well established, and ready to acclimate to your growing conditions.
