Information

Oncidium alexandrae 'Pachu' 001929

A selected clone from the cloud forests of South America, producing large, showy flowers with broad, ruffled sepals and petals. The trilobed lip features a prominent yellow callus and scattered reddish markings, giving each bloom a distinctive, ornate character.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 50–60% shade cloth; avoid direct midday sun, which can scorch the broad leaves.
  • Temperature: 50–72°F (10–22°C); an intermediate to cool grower that benefits from distinct day-to-night temperature drops to initiate blooming.
  • Humidity: 65–80%; good air circulation is essential to keep the foliage healthy at cooler temperatures.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the mix to approach dryness between waterings; reduce frequency during cooler months.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a medium bark mix with excellent drainage. This is a hand-selected clone (001929) offering exceptional flower quality. Ships bare root, well established, and ready to acclimate to your growing conditions.
