Information

Описание

Описание

A compact epiphyte native to the cloud forests of South America, bearing successive flowers on slender ramicauls that arise from small, glossy leaves. The blooms display the intricate, finely structured sepals and bilobed petals characteristic of the genus, with a jewel-like quality that makes this species particularly sought after.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 60–70% shade cloth; avoid any direct sun exposure, which can damage the delicate foliage.
  • Temperature: 50–68°F (10–20°C); a cool grower that thrives with cool nights and good air movement.
  • Humidity: 75–90%; maintain consistently high humidity with strong air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
  • Watering: Keep evenly moist at all times; water frequently in small amounts and never allow the roots to dry out completely.

Additional Notes

Best mounted on cork or tree fern, or grown in a fine, well-draining mix (sphagnum moss or fine bark). Ships bare root, well-established.
